Queer Summer Market

I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun we had at the Queer Summer Market!

First and foremost, we got to reconnect with friends. Second, we were surrounded by open-minded, kind, and talented professionals who were there sharing their passions, products, and services with the community. What could be better than that?

We made it a point to meet and chat with as many people as possible. Of course, part of that included handing out business cards and introducing ourselves as Scottsdale’s newest acupuncture clinic. A little self-promotion? Absolutely. No shame in that! We have to advocate for our business so we can continue helping others take care of their health and well-being.

A few highlights really stood out:

Ms. Lizzie’s Spice Blends – Lizzie creates her own spice blends and knows exactly what’s in them. As someone with food allergies, finding seasonings I can enjoy with confidence was a huge win!

Mane-Lan Kitchen – The co-owners were kind enough to offer to make homemade oxtail straight from the islands while being mindful of my allergies. As someone who deeply misses the flavors of my Cuban heritage, this was a special treat.

Be Safe Safe Place – An incredible organization dedicated to helping ensure members of our community have safe places to go, connect, and find support when they need it most.

All in all, it was a wonderful event filled with great people, meaningful conversations, and a strong sense of community. We’re grateful to have been a part of it and are already looking forward to next year.

See you at the next Queer Summer Market! 🌈
